Traveling with a pet has become less of a niche request and more of an expectation. Across Greater Miami and Key West, hotels are embracing four-legged guests with elevated amenities, thoughtful service and easy access to the region’s best beaches, parks and neighborhoods. Whether it’s a welcome treat at check-in or a pet concierge on call, these properties prove that luxury extends to every member of the family.

At The Betsy, dogs receive the same warm hospitality as the guests who travel with them. The Michelin Key hotel in South Beach’s Art Deco Historic District is home to three beloved resident dogs: golden retrievers Betsy and Rosa, who serve as the hotel’s Canine Executive Officers, and Daisy, a rescued German shepherd. Guests often meet the trio at the hotel’s weekly Friday happy hour. Four-legged visitors are welcomed with house-made treats at check-in, and half of every pet fee is donated to the Harare SPCA in Zimbabwe, honoring hotel co-owner Lesley Goldwasser’s home country.

Just up the coast in Mid-Beach, Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection makes settling in with a dog feel effortless. Its setting along the scenic Beachwalk offers easy access to waterfront strolls. Through the resort’s Cadillac Pet Program, canine guests are greeted with a Waggo dog bed, food and water bowls and a treat. They can also join their owners on the patio at Donna Mare Italian Chophouse

A block away, Hotel Continental takes a concierge-style approach to traveling with pets. Upon arrival, dogs receive a “Pup Passport” highlighting nearby parks, restaurants, groomers and waterfront walking routes, along with a welcome kit stocked with branded bowls, cozy bedding, treats, grooming wipes and a keepsake toy. The result is a personalized stay designed with both pets and their owners in mind.

At The Goodtime Hotel, guests receive pet-friendly neighborhood recommendations, from outdoor restaurants to scenic walking routes. Plus, Washington Dog Park & Annex offers an easy escape for off-leash play just steps from the property.

Arlo Wynwood places guests at the center of one of Miami’s most walkable neighborhoods, where colorful murals, outdoor cafés and open-air breweries create an easygoing backdrop for exploring on foot. The hotel’s partnership with D.O.G. Hotels Wynwood provides discounted daycare, grooming and boarding services, giving guests peace of mind while they explore the neighborhood..

In Brickell, Novotel Miami Brickell offers an easy home base for guests traveling with dogs. The neighborhood’s tree-lined streets and nearby green spaces invite daily walks, while Key Biscayne’s dog-friendly shoreline is only a short drive away.
