An accomplished group of older horses will clash in the $2 million Stephen Foster Stakes (G1) at Churchill Downs on Saturday, June 27, with four Grade 1 winners among the entries.
The field is led by 2025 Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Sovereignty, who is joined by Baeza, third in the 2025 Kentucky Derby, and White Abarrio, 16th in the 2022 Kentucky Derby. Another prominent contender is Magnitude, an emerging runner with strong recent form.
The Stephen Foster serves as the centerpiece of a seven-stakes program worth $4.1 million and is scheduled as Race 11 with an approximate post time of 6:14 p.m. ET.
