Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Returned to Miami With Runway Show
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit hosted its annual runway show during PARAISO Miami Beach at the W Hotel South Beach on July 16th. Guests gathered poolside where Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models including Jasmine Sanders, Camille Kostek, Brooks Nader, Olivia Ponton, Christen Harper, Geo Burke, Hunter McGrady, and Katie Austin, plus Swim Search models Mady Dewey, Manju Bangalore, Joely Live, Ashley Byrd, Janell Williams, and Shannon Burton graced the runway in designer swim brands including Cynthia Rowley, Left on Friday, Lain Snow, Ark Swim, Navy Ray and more.
In true Sports Illustrated Swimsuit spirit, the brand featured surprise and delight moments on the runway, including sister duo Hunter and Michaela McGrady and mom and daughter duo Katie Austin and Denise Austin. Nicole Williams English was announced as the first Rookie for the 2023 issue and was accompanied on the runway by her husband Larry English, announcing they are expecting their first child. SI Swimsuit’s Swim Week takeover also featured fun activations and events, including a cocktail party with Alo Yoga, a hit workout with Dogpound, and a pool workout hosted by Left on Friday. Guests enjoyed a pop-up shop featuring brands such as Cynthia Rowley, Lain Snow, Electric Picks, Mario Badescu, Nutrafol, Soleil Organics, and beverages provided by Celsius and Saint James Tea.
2022 marks the 59th installment of the SI Swimsuit Issue and an overall monumental year for the celebrated franchise. SI Swimsuit launched Pay With Change, the first-of-its-kind advertising call-to-action where all brands showcase their commitment to making meaningful advances for female empowerment.
