Spirit of Giving Night at Galleria Fort Lauderdale Raises $18,000 for Local Charities

Galleria Fort Lauderdale hosted its first Spirit of Giving Night on December 4 at Dillard’s, drawing hundreds of guests for an evening focused on recognizing community leadership and supporting local nonprofits. The event raised more than $18,000 for seven South Florida organizations: the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, the FLITE Center, Florida Children’s Theatre, HANDY, Henderson Behavioral Health, the Leadership Broward Foundation, and the South Florida Symphony Orchestra.

The program highlighted individuals recognized for their sustained commitment to philanthropy and civic engagement across the region. Honorees included Don D’Arminio and Marc Martorana, Carey Warburton, Javier Iglesias and Amanda Martin, Eileen LaMarca, Jamie Wasserman, David and Doreen Vozzola, and Jen Klaassens. Each was presented with an art glass award marking their contributions to initiatives that support education, health, arts, and social services in South Florida.

The evening was hosted by Fay Albernas of The FayWhat?! Show, alongside Galleria Fort Lauderdale Marketing Manager Melissa Milroy. Guests participated in culinary tastings, sampled wine and spirits, enjoyed live entertainment, and shopped throughout the venue. Retail and dining incentives were offered during the event, including access to Dillard’s and select Galleria Fort Lauderdale merchants.
