SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch at Kennedy Space Center: Where to Watch September 13
A Space X Falcon 9 rocket will launch the final three O3b mPower communication satellites into orbit no earlier than (NET) Sunday, September 13, 2026, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Guests to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will have the opportunity to view the launch from prime locations in the park with the purchase of general admission tickets, including from The Gantry at LC-39, a premium viewing location typically available only with an additional launch viewing ticket. Guests will have access to bleacher seating at The Gantry, along with launch audio and a live video feed. Space is limited and available on a first-come first-served basis via the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Other launch viewing options included with an admission ticket include the Banana Creek bleachers A-G or the lawn at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, accessible via the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour from 9:30 –3 p.m. Viewing is also available at the Atlantis North Lawn on the visitor complex’s main campus. Limited bleacher seating will be available at the Atlantis North Lawn. Both locations will feature launch audio and a live video feed. Launch viewing from these locations is also available on a first-come, first-served.
The launch is scheduled to take place between 2:49 p.m. and 4:16 p.m.
The O3b mPOWER satellites are improved second-generation satellites for the SES-owned O3b Networks. Previous launches for the mPOWER constellation have each orbited two satellites. This will be the first and only mission to launch three satellites for the constellation
