Sotheby’s is spotlighting a series of notable offerings that range from a newly cut high jewelry stone and rediscovered Claude Monet paintings to rare guitars and rock and pop memorabilia.

The auction house is tracing the journey of the De Beers Jwaneng 28.88 diamond, which was discovered as a 114.83 carat rough stone and recently transformed into a high jewelry centerpiece ahead of Hong Kong Luxury Week.

In Paris, Sotheby’s is revisiting Claude Monet’s route along the Seine, traveling by boat to locations where the artist painted two masterpieces that have not been publicly seen for more than 50 years, as part of programming leading up to the Paris Sales in modern and contemporary art.

The house is also highlighting collecting opportunities across pop culture and music, including a guide to so called specimen guitars and a group of rock and pop relics that features a tambourine signed by Stevie Nicks and Keith Moon’s “Pictures of Lily” drum kit from one of The Who’s landmark performances.
