For soccer fans planning a trip to Miami during the FIFA World Cup 2026, finding a place to stay could now come with an unexpected bonus: match tickets.

Airbnb has launched a new initiative that will give select guests free FIFA World Cup tickets as part of their stay, with Miami among the first cities participating in the program. The effort is part of a tournament-wide partnership spanning all 16 host cities, designed to bring more fans into stadiums throughout the competition.
How the Ticket Program Works
As started on June 10, select Airbnb listings in Miami began offering complimentary FIFA World Cup tickets as part of a stay. Additional homes will be released throughout the tournament, giving fans opportunities to access tickets for later rounds.
Release dates include:
Group Stage and Round of 32: June 10 (including Miami)
Round of 16: June 18
Quarterfinals: July 1 (including Miami)
Semifinals: July 9
FIFA World Cup Final™: July 16
Airbnb says hosts and guests will receive more than 1,300 complimentary tickets throughout the tournament, including hundreds allocated to Miami. Some travelers who have already booked stays during the Group Stage may also receive surprise ticket upgrades.
Miami's World Cup Moment
The ticket initiative arrives as Miami prepares for one of the busiest tourism periods in its history. According to Airbnb, guests using the platform are projected to generate $384 million in economic impact during the tournament, making Miami the second-highest performing host city in the United States.
The spending is expected to support approximately 1,560 jobs across the region.
Several additional trends highlight Miami's importance during the World Cup:
$384 million in projected economic impact, second among all FIFA World Cup host cities.
1,560 jobs expected to be supported by Airbnb guest spending during the tournament.
38% of visitors are Gen Z travelers, making Miami the second most popular U.S. host city for younger fans.
Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil rank as the top international markets sending visitors to Miami.
One in six guests visiting Miami during the tournament are first-time Airbnb users.
The average booking includes 3.6 guests, while 19% of reservations are family trips.
