Jean Chung is an artist and writer based in NYC. Working around narratives of being in hiding, Jean is interested in the shifting possibility of fantasy and reality in self-prescribed isolation. Exploring kitsch as armor, secrets, both isolation and dependence, pleasures and anxieties, the work invites desires of closeness with precaution.
