SIXT Expands Its North American Network with New Tulsa Office

SIXT USA, a subsidiary of the global mobility giant SIXT SE, is set to open a new office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which SIXT customers in Miami and across North America will be interested to know. Scheduled to open in March 2025, the office will be located in downtown Tulsa at One Technology Center, 175 E 2nd St., and marks a key step in the company’s continued expansion across the continent.
The move comes as SIXT continues to grow in North America, its largest market. The Tulsa office will serve as a key hub for the company, supporting its expanding operations in the region. The office is expected to occupy 15,000 square feet initially, with plans to grow to 41,000 square feet within five years. It will employ 70 people in its first year, with that number rising to 200 by 2030.
“Tulsa offers a skilled workforce and a business-friendly environment that will help us continue our growth,” said Tom Kennedy, President of SIXT North America. “This new location will enhance our ability to serve customers across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless operations as we scale.”
The opening is seen as a significant addition to SIXT’s network, which already includes over 100 rental locations across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to strengthening its local presence, the Tulsa office will support the company’s North American headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Local officials are also enthusiastic about the new office. Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols expressed his excitement, noting that the expansion underscores the city’s growing appeal as a destination for businesses. “We are proud to welcome SIXT to Tulsa and look forward to the contributions they’ll make to our economy and community,” he said.
Mike Neal, President and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber, also welcomed the move. “SIXT’s decision to expand here will bring new jobs and economic growth to our area. Their presence will further enhance Tulsa’s reputation as a business hub.”
Since its U.S. debut in 2011, SIXT has established itself as a leader in the competitive car rental market, operating more than 100 branches in 26 states and serving 51 major airports across the country. With the addition of Canada operations in 2022, the company is continuing to build its presence across North America.
