"Shine Like Diamonds" – A Fashion Photo Essay by Karen Epstein

It’s been a long 3 years since the pandemic raged through the world. After months and months of cozy comfort wear, formal sweat pants and zoom-friendly tops (with optional bottoms) fashion is ready to party again! This shoot was conceived out of maximalism, impracticality and layers upon layers of luxe. Days before Miami-based Stylist Deana Anais and NYC Photographer Karen Epstein were scheduled to shoot they took in Thierry Mugler: Couturissime at the Brooklyn Museum. What synchronicity! Inspired and encouraged by his sensual embrace of crystals, feathers, fetish wear and, in particular, some cheekily-placed pearls, they produced this fashion story with energy, sparkle, movement and shine to usher in Spring 2023.
