Shelborne Reopens with Celebrity-Filled Celebration in Miami Beach

Shelborne by Proper officially reopened with a launch event at its historic Collins Avenue location. The $100 million renovation restores the iconic 1940 Art Deco hotel with updated interiors and lifestyle-driven design.

Notable attendees included Julia Lemigova (The Real Housewives of Miami), influencers Vale and Sebastian Gente, and TikToker Harry Raftus. Guests enjoyed performances by The Aqualillies, live sets from Poolside, LagrimasDeoro, and DRAMA, and a first look at the hotel’s new offerings.

The event also debuted dishes from Pauline, led by Michelin-starred chef Abram Bissell, and cocktails from Little Torch. Brand partners included LALO Tequila, Rumor Rosé, Bloom Nutrition, and Lotus, which displayed its Evija supercar on arrival and introduced two Eletre SUV house cars.

The 251-room property features ocean-view suites, Deco-era pool with cabanas, and the Beach Club by Proper. Bookings open May 6.
