SFLG Selects Denise M. Heekin, JoLinda Herring, and David C. Miller of BMO as 2021 Top Lawyers

The South Florida Legal Guide (SFLG), part of the South Florida Business & Wealth family of publications, has selected Denise M. Heekin, Esq.; JoLinda Herring, Esq.; and David C. Miller, Esq. of Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (BMO) as Top Lawyers in its 2021 issue. Heekin, Herring and Miller are all based in BMO’s Miami office.


This is the second consecutive year that Heekin and Miller have received the Top Lawyers designation.

Herring was newly elected as the firm’s CEO and managing shareholder. Her practice is dedicated to municipal law, governmental tax-exempt financings and blue sky securities law, with expertise in commercial paper programs. She currently serves as bond counsel to the Sunshine State Governmental Financing Commission and was also instrumental in creating the Florida Municipal Loan Council and the Florida Rural Utility Financing Commission; she currently serves as bond counsel to both entities. Miller, a shareholder of BMO’s Miami office, is board-certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar. An attorney for more than 20 years, Miller’s focus is on labor unions, employment litigation and human resources counseling. He also represents public sector employers who sponsor pension plans. Miller is a past Chair of the City, County, and Local Government Law Section of The Florida Bar, which represents the interests of Florida’s governmental attorneys and has approximately 1,700 members.
