Sergey Belyavsky to Debut in 2025 Miami International Piano Festival's Discovery Series

The highly anticipated Discovery Series of the 2025 Miami International Piano Festival is set to make its return this April, bringing global talent to the intimate and enchanting setting of The Wolfsonian – FIU Museum in Miami Beach. The opening performance on April 5 will feature Sergey Belyavsky, one of the most exciting pianists of his generation, as he takes the stage for his debut recital in the United States as part of the festival.
Belyavsky, praised for his “extraordinary expressive intelligence” (Bachtrack), will present a captivating program that includes works by C.P.E. Bach, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, and Schumann. Widely recognized for his technical prowess and musical depth, Belyavsky’s performances have thrilled audiences in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and Salle Gaveau in Paris. The recital will be preceded by a special tour of The Wolfsonian’s exhibit "The Big World: Alternative Landscapes in the Modern Era", which begins at 7:00 PM, allowing attendees to enjoy a cultural experience before the performance.
