Sensi Media Group Announces Jen Bernstein as New Executive Editor

Sensi Media Group LLC, publisher of Sensi magazine, has named Jen Bernstein as the new Executive Editor of the award-winning Denver-based publishing house.

In Bernstein’s role, she will be responsible for leading all aspects of creative content for the magazine as well as managing our online environment. Sensi magazine is currently distributed in Michigan, Colorado, Florida, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, California, and Puerto Rico.

Bernstein brings an abundance of experience to the new Executive Editor position. She is a media professional who has risen through the ranks of the publishing and cannabis industries for more than twenty years. In her previous role as managing editor for High Times, she led all editorial content, cover and content meetings, maintained the style guide, and oversaw the publication of 70+ issues of High Times and High Times’ “Best Of” quarterly magazines.

Some of her numerous contributions to High Times included creating the first-ever “Cannabusiness” column for the magazine, which reported on the ever-changing landscape of the legal cannabis market; authoring the annual “Pot Job Report,” that highlighted the state of the industry through the economic and job sectors; and leading the annual Vaporizer Review as well as other features, which dug deep into cannabis subculture and culture.

"As our Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Stephanie Wilson, is moving on to explore new creative opportunities, Sensi Media is thrilled to have Jen Bernstein join our staff as Executive Editor,” said Stephanie Graziano, CEO of Sensi Media. “Jen's background is a perfect blend of mainstream consumer magazines and cannabis industry experience. She brings more than two decades of journalism and creativity to our team. We're looking forward to what she will bring to the magazine, as well as other areas of our business."

Bernstein has served as a professional cannabis expert and judge for the High Times Cannabis Cup and the High Times Medical Cannabis Cups throughout the United States and in Amsterdam. As head of vendor relations on-site at the Cups, she engaged with the best growers, cultivators, manufacturers, and dispensaries, as well as non-plant touching ancillary products and non-profit organizations.

Bernstein remains at the forefront of cannabis publishing and has written for Cannabis Now, Cannabliss, Northeast Leaf, The Fresh Toast, The Village Voice, Relix, and Latina magazine, among others. She holds a master’s in publishing from New York University.
