Last Call on Lincoln Road - Celebrating Segafredo’s Legacy of 26 Years on June 21

The South Beach Institution that helped define a generation of Miami nightlife is throwing one final party, and everyone is invited.

On June 21st, Segafredo L’Originale will open for one last round. After 26 years of morning espressos, afternoon aperitivos, and nights that went well past midnight, Segafredo is closing its doors and doing it in the right way: with music, people and glasses of bubbly.

When Graziano Sbroggio and the Graspa Group first opened Segafredo in June of 2000, they had a simple idea to bring the Italian bar experience to Miami Beach. A place to stop and have a coffee in the morning, a spritz and the afternoon, and be there hours later.

“When we opened Segafredo, we wanted to create an authentic Italian-style bar where people could gather at any hour of the day for great food, drinks, music and conversation,” said Graziano Sbroggio, CEO and owner of Graspa Group.

Co-owner Mark Soyka put it simply: “Some of the best memories of Miami Beach happened at those tables on Lincoln Road. So many friendships, conversations, celebrations and late nights started at Segafredo, and I think that’s why the place connected with people for so long.”

And for 26 years, music was central to that. With DJ sets that drew in locals and regulars that kept coming back, turning Segafredo into a gathering place, as it was a restaurant.

The farewell celebration is open to the public and will run from 2 - 10 p.m. at 1040 Lincoln Road for one last toast and to honor the memories of Segafredo for the past 26 years. Guests can expect the full Segafredo menu, cocktails, and a lineup of DJs who participated in Segafredo's nightlife over the past two decades.
