The Frost School of Music invites you to an extraordinary evening of jazz, led by the renowned Maria Schneider, artistic director and conductor, alongside saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Scott Robinson. Known for his unparalleled improvisational skill and mastery of unique instruments, Robinson will perform compositions by Schneider, Studio Jazz Writing Program Director Steve Guerra, and select student composers.
“Scott has been a central part of my inspiration for over 30 years," shares Schneider. “His level of mastery and expressivity are in a category all his own.” The program promises a dynamic showcase of works highlighting Robinson’s signature artistry and the collaborative brilliance of Schneider and Guerra.
