Sandra Veszi Einhorn, a recognized leader in housing affordability and community development, has been unanimously re-elected to serve as chair of the Board of Directors for the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC). With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and nonprofit sectors, Veszi Einhorn brings extensive expertise and leadership to the role, continuing to advance Florida’s mission to provide attainable housing for all residents.

As founder of SVE Consulting, Veszi Einhorn’s work for her clients has resulted in tangible change across South Florida. Working with the Coordinating Council of Broward since 2016, she has been at the forefront of advocating for housing policy reform and developing countywide initiatives that have made a lasting impact in Broward County and beyond. She played a pivotal role in the successful 2018 referendum to create the Broward County Affordable Housing Trust Fund and led the creation of Housing Broward: An Inclusive Plan, the county’s first comprehensive housing strategy. Veszi Einhorn’s leadership extends to spearheading efforts to combat stigmas surrounding housing affordability and advocating for the private and philanthropic sectors to become more involved in solving housing challenges.
“It is a tremendous honor to have been chosen by my fellow board members to serve another year as Chair of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation,” said Veszi Einhorn. “I am grateful to Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature for the opportunity to serve as a liaison and resource to stakeholders across our great state as we work together to ensure that Floridians have access to housing they can afford and thrive in.”
“Together with the talented FHFC staff, we have made significant strides in reducing regulation and providing funding to develop incredible communities across Florida that stabilize households and strengthen communities. I remain committed to continuing to lead the nation in innovative housing strategies and working with stakeholders to be efficient stewards of the financial resources that we are allocated,” she continued.
Veszi Einhorn’s leadership and advocacy have not only advanced policies but have also led to tangible results. Under her guidance in 2025, FHFC has:
Provided $1.5 billion in first mortgage assistance and more than $66 million in down payment and closing cost assistance to 5,628 Florida families through the Homebuyer Loan Program
Through the Hometown Heroes program, provided 1,671 Floridians with more than $535 million in first mortgage assistance, supported by $27 million of down payment and closing cost assistance.

Certified 273 multifamily properties for the Multifamily Middle Market Tax Exemption, affecting more than 35,000 affordable rental units
Veszi Einhorn’s influence extends beyond the FHFC. She serves as chair of the Broward County Homeless Continuum of Care Board’s PONG Committee and co-chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s Housing Affordability Pillar. Her commitment to addressing the full spectrum of housing needs from homelessness to homeownership has garnered her recognition, including being named the 2021 Inspiring Woman of Health, being named to the Broward Education Foundation BCPS Alumni Hall of Fame, and earning a spot in the South Florida Business Journal’s "40 Under 40" and Influential Business Women lists.
