Rosewood Hotel Group has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility with the unveiling of the Impact Trailblazers, a select group of six properties that are setting new standards for the entire portfolio and the broader hospitality industry.

Announced as part of the Rosewood Impacts initiative, these trailblazing hotels include Rosewood Hong Kong, Rosewood Baha Mar, Rosewood São Paulo, Rosewood Phnom Penh, Rosewood Mayakoba, and Rosewood Phuket. These properties are leading the charge in creating a future where luxury hospitality enriches both people and the environment.

The Impact Trailblazers have committed to achieving at least one of six ambitious goals by 2025, supplementing the broader targets shared by all 48 Rosewood properties. These goals include:

  • 100% elimination of single-use plastics in both front and back of house

  • 100% carbon neutrality

  • 90% waste diversion

  • Local sourcing of 70% of produce and protein

  • Development of at least one meaningful and long-term community partnership

  • Transformation of at least one hotel restaurant into a "business with a purpose"

These goals are focused on creating substantial environmental and social impacts, integrating best practices and lessons learned to enhance the ever-evolving Rosewood Impacts roadmap.
