Roger Federer Draws Cheers at Star-Studded US Open Day 9



The US Open was brimming with star power on Day 9, with celebrities making waves both on and off the court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.


Comedian Kevin Hart was seen enjoying a lively conversation with journalist Katie Couric during the men's singles quarterfinal match, while actress Busy Philipps brought new beau Jon Kasbe as her plus-one to the evening session. Meanwhile, Jason Sudeikis and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt attempted a discreet entrance through the VIP doors, only to be caught by the Arthur Ashe jumbotron.


The crowd erupted with excitement when tennis legend Roger Federer made an appearance inside Arthur Ashe Stadium during the highly anticipated match between Aryna Sabalenka and Qinwen Zheng. Adding to the evening’s entertainment, two-time Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez beamed with enthusiasm as she performed the coin toss for the quarterfinals showdown.



Reality TV favorites and "Giggly Squad" co-hosts Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner graced the Blue Carpet, sharing their eagerness for the evening’s matches. Meanwhile, Kathryn Newton, star of "Lisa Frankenstein," joined Olympians Katie Ledecky, Daryl Homer, Chiaka Ogbogu, and Daniela Moroz in the Polo Ralph Lauren Suite to watch the men’s singles action.


Other notable attendees spotted on Day 9 included The Chainsmokers, Deborra-Lee Furness, Boris Kodjoe, Miles McBride, Ego Nwodim, Jerami Grant, Roger Goodell, and Shonda Rhimes, making it a truly glittering affair.
