Robin Miller Receives Award from South Florida Business & Wealth

South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW), South Florida’s business and lifestyle magazine serving Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, has named Jewish Family Home Care's Chief Operating Officer Robin Miller an honoree for its 2024 Prestigious Women Awards in the Nonprofit Leaders – Community Partners category.


The awards honor outstanding female business leaders and owners whose innovations and success help drive the South Florida economy. Honorees are top leaders in the tri-county area who have created business success stories and provided leadership to women and the broader community. Categories include owners and partners, C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, mentors, professional association leaders, nonprofit leaders, rising stars (under 40) and lifetime achievement. 


Miller and other honorees were celebrated during the Fourth Annual Prestigious Women Awards program with a networking reception and sit-down luncheon. They will also be featured in the May issue of South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine.

Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit business development, fundraising and coordinating successful outreach programs to her position as chief operating officer of Jewish Family Home Care. In her role, Miller is responsible for overseeing the organization’s operations, public relations and marketing, community outreach, strategic planning and growth of Jewish Family Home Care’s business model.  

Jewish Family Home Care is one of the largest providers of in-home health care assistance to Holocaust survivors and anyone in Broward County, Florida needing in-home care. The nonprofit organization serves all of Broward County and all faiths.


Miller’s longstanding connection with the South Florida community encompasses her varied roles. Her past positions have included director of Development and Community Outreach for the Ann Storck Center, COO for the Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins Players Child Care Centers, executive director of the South Palm Beach chapter of the National Parkinson’s Foundation and consultant to the CEO and preschool expansion of the YMCA of the Palm Beaches. 


Through her role with Jewish Family Home Care, Miller has created a network to support Holocaust survivors and anyone in Broward County, Florida needing in home care, while ensuring that seniors can continue living at home with the best level of dignity and independence. 


Miller is also a lifetime member of Hadassah, the women's Zionist organization of America; and a proud member of South Palm Beach Impact 100, which connects, engages and inspires women to improve the community by collectively funding multiple $100,000 grants to nonprofits that implement high-impact initiatives in southern Palm Beach County.

Miller served as the assistant executive director and director of operations for the YMCA of Broward County, and director of Elementary and Family Services at the Soref Jewish Community Center in Plantation, Florida. She has also promoted large gala events in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. In addition, Miller holds certifications in Senior Living Administration and Florida Child Care Administration.
