Richemont Announces Changes to Board & Executive Committee

Updated: Mar 4

Richemont has announced several changes to its Board of Directors and Senior Executive Committee (SEC), effective immediately. Catherine Rénier, CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Ferla, CEO of Cartier, and Marie-Aude Stocker, who has been named the new Chief People Officer (CPO) of Richemont, are the latest additions to the SEC.

Marie-Aude Stocker, who was previously Director of People, Development, and Prospective at Van Cleef & Arpels, will now oversee HR strategy at Richemont. She brings 35 years of experience in the luxury industry, including 24 years with the group. Stocker will report to Richemont’s CEO, Nicolas Bos.

Commenting on the changes, Bos expressed confidence in Stocker’s ability to help Richemont address its evolving HR needs, noting her extensive background in the industry.

Meanwhile, Jérôme Lambert will step down from both the SEC and the Board of Directors following his appointment as CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. Bos thanked Lambert for his contributions and wished him well in his new role.

Boet Brinkgreve, CEO of Laboratoire de Haute Parfumerie et Beauté, will leave the company at the end of April.

These changes come as Richemont continues to expand its leadership team, with Rénier and Ferla bringing valuable experience from some of the company’s most important Maisons. Bos expressed optimism that their addition will strengthen the SEC’s strategic direction.

Richemont is known for its portfolio of luxury brands, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Jaeger-LeCoultre, as well as its high-end fashion and accessories businesses.

Richemont’s ‘A’ shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and also traded on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
