Renowned Buenos Aires Bar ‘Presidente’ Opens in Wynwood, Miami

Presidente Bar, one of Latin America’s most celebrated cocktail institutions, has officially opened its first U.S. location in the heart of Wynwood at 146 NW 28th Street, Miami. Originally founded in 2017 in Buenos Aires, the bar earned international recognition with a #21 spot on The World’s 50 Best Bars list and a reputation for exceptional cocktails, immersive design, and vibrant atmosphere.
Co-Founder and Creative Director Sebastián “Seba” García—named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Figures in the Cocktail Industry—brings the spirit of Buenos Aires to Miami with a concept built around storytelling, craftsmanship, and high-level hospitality. García is joined by Sir Christian Delpech, a Buenos Aires native and 19-time world champion in flair bartending, to lead the new flagship's beverage program.
The Miami location continues the brand’s legacy with a design that merges lush greenery, gold accents, and sculptural lighting with handcrafted details imported from Argentina. A large mural by Argentine artist Martín Ron adds to the cinematic feel of the space, which accommodates 160 seated guests and up to 90 standing across two main areas: a 100-seat main bar and a hidden room called La Biblioteca.
Behind velvet curtains, La Biblioteca offers a more intimate experience with rare spirits, mirrored floors, soaring bookshelves, and an ambiance inspired by classic intellectual salons. Every bottle is curated with intention, appealing to connoisseurs and cocktail lovers alike.
The cocktail menu highlights Latin American ingredients and creative techniques, with standout drinks like the Un Beso Más (Woodford Rye, Cynar, Cocchi di Torino, Tempus Fugit Cacao), Patagonia Fix (Grey Goose, St. Germain, mint, lime, berries), and the spicy Daiquiriña made with Leblon cachaça and chile syrup. A refined food menu by Executive Chef Kevin Acosta includes dishes like Kale & Spinach Fritters, Wagyu Sliders, Patagonian Pink Risotto, and a 14oz Ribeye with truffle focaccia soufflé.
