Rainbow Oasiiis and Superblue Launch "Future Artist" Initiative

Following the success of the Chroma Art Film Festival, Rainbow Oasiiis and Superblue have teamed up to launch Future Artist, the second initiative in their Full Spectrum Partnership. Amid rising material costs, the Future Artist initiative aims to equip more than 1,000 South Florida children with essential art supplies. Throughout the month, materials can be dropped off at Superblue and other Future Artist’s designated donation bins across Miami.

Collected art supplies will be distributed to Miami’s budding artists at Superblue on Sunday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free and open-to-the-public event will also have a diverse range of immersive sessions hosted by local artists and partners, to ensure the city’s next generation of creative minds not only receive materials, but gain invaluable knowledge, artistic techniques, and inspiration to channel their creativity.

"Our vision is to bridge the gap between passion and resources. Every child deserves an opportunity to explore their artistic potential, and with 'Future Artist,' we're hoping to make this dream a reality for thousands," shares artist and Rainbow Oasiiis founder, Haiiileen.

Desired art supplies for donation include: crayons, colored pencils, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, markers, watercolor paints, paintbrushes, acrylic paints, tempera paints, construction paper, sketchbooks, drawing paper, glue sticks, scissors, modeling clay, craft supplies, canvas or canvas panels, art storage containers, art books and instructional materials, art easels, paint palettes, and art kits. Those who prefer to make a monetary donation to the Future Artist initiative can do so via the link HERE.

"Art has the power to transform, inspire, and educate. By joining hands with Rainbow Oasiiis, we're furthering our pledge to make art accessible and meaningful for all," states Shantelle Rodriguez, Director of Experiential Art Centers for Superblue. “The collaboration is a natural extension of our mission and commitment to artistic expression.”

As part of the November 12 event, Rainbow Oasiiis will also unveil its 2023 Miami Artist Activity Book. The vibrant collection highlights 50 renowned Miami artists, and showcases the diverse artistic landscapes of the city, allowing readers to explore the distinct styles, narratives, and creative processes of each featured artist.
