Take a break from Miami and make plans to head out to the French Alps. Raffles Hotels & Resorts, a luxury brand under Accor, announced plans to open its first alpine resort in Courchevel 1850. Developed in partnership with Art de Vivre, the property is scheduled to welcome guests for the 2028 winter season.

Located in the Jardin Alpin precinct of Les Trois Vallées ski area, the resort will mark the brand’s second property in France, joining Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris. The location is known for its access to skiing, Michelin-starred dining, and luxury boutiques.
Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, stated that the expansion into Courchevel aligns with the brand's strategy to grow in high-demand resort destinations. Jonathan Lau, Co-Founder and CEO of Art de Vivre, added that the project aims to respect the local hospitality heritage while establishing a new landmark in the region.
Designed by architectural firm JMV with interiors by Humbert & Poyet, Raffles Courchevel will feature 50 guestrooms and suites. Many rooms will include private balconies overlooking the Tarentaise Valley. Amenities will include a signature bar, a tea lounge, and two restaurants featuring winter gardens and outdoor terraces.
The property will also house a dedicated spa focused on traditional wellness and longevity science. The wellness facility will include treatment rooms, thermal areas, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. For families, the resort plans to offer nature and sports programs tailored for younger guests.
