Priscilla Presley Attends Red Dot Miami to Unveil Her Portrait Collection
The renowned Hollywood actress, Priscilla Presley, attended this year’s Miami Art Week to unveil her portrait collection at Red Dot Miami in Wynwood on Friday, December 3rd, among a capacity attendance at one of the week’s longest running art fairs.
Portraits of Priscilla have been developed by Florida-based artist Adam Rote, who has specialized in painting renditions of Hollywood legends for the last 10 years. The two portraits unveiled by Priscilla at Red Dot Miami are part of Adam’s “Goddess Collection” presented by Zukunft Galerie and owner John Brandolino, that also feature artistic representations of Farrah Fawcett, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor among others.
Since the age of 12, Adam has honed his skills with apprenticeships in the fields of airbrush and portraiture, emerging 45 years later to become the most collaborated painter with Academy Award and legendary performers than any other fine artist. Starting off with classic silver screen black and white paintings of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor, the rare historic sign's metal is meticulously cut into a star and then mounted on two more layers of brushed aluminum and featured prominently in a cascade of shooting stars and transparent paint splashes. These additions brilliantly add more allure to Adam's touch of colored lipstick on each legend he paints. Next, he will add several layers of diamond dust to the painting, then sealing it in a deep crystal gloss, finished strikingly by the addition of Swarovski crystals. This never before realized historic fine art will only put a spotlight on the dreams of those iconic movie stars who once graced the silver screen with their presence.
Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami, the only two shows under one roof during Miami Art Week, takes place in Miami every year during Miami Art Week which is held during the first week of December. For more information visit redwoodartgroup.com/red-dot-miami/
