After four successful seasons in New York City, Fashion 4 Ukraine made an unforgettable splash at Miami Swim Week with its inaugural Miami showcase on May 29, transforming the lush grounds of the Miami Beach Botanical Garden into a vibrant celebration of resilience, creativity, and international collaboration.
Founded by Ukrainian model and journalist Olga Ivanidi, Fashion 4 Ukraine has become a dynamic platform dedicated to amplifying Ukrainian designers on the global stage. For its Miami debut, the organization brought together 38 models and 10 Ukrainian and American designers, proving that fashion can be both a creative force and a vehicle for cultural connection.

Set against a magical tropical backdrop of swaying palms and blooming gardens, guests experienced an immersive runway presentation highlighting the diversity and innovation of contemporary swimwear and resort wear.
"Even though I’ve produced shows in New York and other states, our inaugural season in Miami felt especially exciting and full of anticipation," said Ivanidi. "Being a trailblazer and advocate means creating opportunities where none existed before, and bringing Ukrainian fashion to Miami Swim Week is something no one had done on this scale."
Ivanidi embodied the collaborative spirit of the event through her own look, wearing a dress by New York-based Ukrainian designer Ira Lysa paired with a corset by Ukrainian brand Tonic de Vie.

"The combination reflected exactly what I want Fashion 4 Ukraine to represent - a platform for collaboration between Ukrainian creatives and meaningful partnerships between Ukrainians and Americans. When we come together we create connection, visibility, and opportunity."
Among the evening’s most moving moments was the presentation by PARASOL’KA. Created in Lutsk, Ukraine amid the realities of war, the collection stood as a testament to perseverance and artistic determination. Designed during one of the most intense periods of attacks on the region and shipped to Miami just in time for the show, the collection paired PARASOL’KA’s signature raincoats with embroidered swimsuits by fellow Ukrainian label ZIGZAG, creating a striking visual narrative of protection, hope, and resilience.

Fashion 4 Ukraine also introduced a promising new voice to the international fashion scene. FABULOUS by Olena Partow, a Ukrainian designer based in Texas, made its runway debut with a whimsical collection featuring playful silhouettes and feminine details.

A standout among the featured brands was PÁLM SWM, a Ukrainian-owned swimwear and resort wear label based in Miami and founded in 2021 by designer Khrystyna Malyeryk. At Fashion 4 Ukraine x Miami, the brand presented its latest collection, Beyond the Shore, reimagining swimwear as a versatile wardrobe extending far beyond the beach. Elegant swimsuits paired with sophisticated resort wear pieces reflected the brand’s philosophy of effortless elegance, freedom, and confidence.

Despite the challenges many Ukrainian designers continue to face, several brands participated remotely by sending their collections across the Atlantic. ARTGO showcased tan-through and pole dance wear, ALAYA SWIM presented functional tan-through swimwear, and TONIC DE VIE introduced contemporary corsetry.

The event’s international perspective extended beyond Ukraine. Returning for a third consecutive Fashion 4 Ukraine season, VAIDA by Tina Vaida delivered its signature blend of affordable luxury swimwear and resort wear. Latin American label PLAYA SOL unveiled its Solstice Sands collection, while Dallas-based brand COTERA, founded by a designer of Indian heritage, impressed audiences with breathable cotton separates and elevated everyday essentials.

One of the evening’s most memorable collaborations came from Miami-based swimwear designer Kabdul and Ukrainian accessories brand Hinkelman, which paired sleek swimwear with statement leather belt basques. Their partnership perfectly captured the show's central message: creativity flourishes when cultures connect.

The success of Fashion 4 Ukraine's Miami debut was made possible through the support of local Ukrainian-owned businesses and community partners. Guests enjoyed catering by Golden Spoon Catering, floral installations by Alma Floral House, chocolate-covered strawberries by BB Bouquets, and bouquets for designers provided by ROSEMIA. Epic Events illuminated the venue, DJ Roustam curated the soundtrack, Enjoy It Salon hosted a beauty pop-up, and Rogue House Salon served as the official glam sponsor. Media support was provided by the Ukrainian American Business & Innovation Network, with financial support from Ukrainian Federal Credit Union.
The event also reflected the growing global reach of Fashion 4 Ukraine, with models traveling from across the United States and around the world, including New York, Texas, and even Australia, to participate.
Among the evening’s standout talents was Australian-Ukrainian model Dasha Vinokur, who not only walked the runway but also joined her brother, David Vinokur, for a special intermission performance. The siblings, both Latin dance champions in Australia, energized the audience with a dynamic routine that seamlessly blended fashion and performance.
