Ponte Vedra Inn & Club Unveils Comprehensive Renovation to Its Beachfront Suites
The AAA Five-Diamond oceanfront resort, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, has unveiled 64 newly reimagined luxury beachfront guest rooms and suites overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Summer House and St. John’s House.
These latest renovations, following the unveiling of the new Ocean House and Peyton House accommodations in 2020, are an elevated, modern-day interpretation of the iconic property, which has welcomed visitors to its idyllic shores since 1928. For nearly a century, the resort has offered guests and members a refined beachfront experience with world-class service, and true southern hospitality on Florida’s historic northeast coast.
"The refreshed design and style of the Summer House and St. John's House is equally a tribute to the rich history of the resort as well as a nod to its future," said Michael Gordon, Vice President and General Manager of Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. "We have identified the perfect 'look' for the next chapter of our iconic property – seaside heritage and elegance meets modern luxury and innovation.
Both Houses exemplify our commitment to providing the finest experience for our guests and we are excited to welcome both new and existing guests to experience this new vision."
Perched on a 1.5 mile stretch of storied coastline, the reimagined Summer House and St. John’s House accommodations pair beachfront luxury with bespoke furnishings, each seamlessly extending into generous private terraces or ground-level patios, boasting sweeping ocean views and direct paths to the beach. Elegant and eco-forward design touches have also been added to each room through the creation of custom furniture such as tabletops etched with seashells and seahorses, inspired by the property’s historic design.
In addition to newly appointed family-friendly accommodations, some featuring connecting guest rooms, the renovation includes a new Hospitality Suite available for private rental, embodying the spirit and heritage of the landmark resort.
