Plant-Based Protein PAOW! Launching Retail Lineup Nationwide This Fall

Updated: Jun 19, 2022

Future Foods Enterprises LLC will launch a new plant-based protein under the brand name PAOW! (an acronym for “People And Our World”) to consumers in fall 2022. Made from just three simple ingredients - non-GMO soy, water, and salt - PAOW! will offer a variety of gluten and dairy-free, plant-based protein products that mimic the texture and flavors of their meat-based counterparts.

Created for meat eaters, flexitarians, vegans and vegetarians alike, PAOW!™ Pieces are boldly seasoned with worldly flavors to make virtually any recipe - from sautéed, grilled, baked, sous-vide, boiled or fried - with a consistency ranging from sushi to crispy fried chicken.

PAOW! products launching nationwide include:

PAOW!™ Pieces - Rotisserie Seasoned

The classic flavor. Slow roasted and savory!

PAOW!™ Pieces - Madras Curry-Flavored

A traditional blend of aromatic spices, slightly sweet and slightly hot.

PAOW!™ Pieces - Korean Barbecue

A blend of sweet and mild heat with gochujang, ginger, and soy sauce.

PAOW!™ Pieces - Southwestern Style

Our riff on the traditional flavors of West Texas.

PAOW!™ Pieces - Sweet & Hot Harissa

A balance of sweet & hot peppers, citrus, and aromatic spices.

PAOW!™ Pieces - Not Just Philly

Our select, smaller cuts add culinary coolness to any meal.

“By developing a full line of premium clean labeled plant-forward, meat alternatives, with zero compromise on taste and texture, we look to lead the plant-based protein shift; we look to provide great products to the consumer, that in return, make a positive impact on our plant and the environment,” said Alex Kramarchuk, CEO of PAOW!. “Our brand stands apart from competitors because we are meeting increased consumer demand for a clean-labeled, versatile, premium quality plant protein solution for every meal. There has been a 37% growth of plant-based proteins over the past two years, with 18% growth over the past year, and to boot, 44% of US consumers identify as flexitarian.”

Up until now, PAOW! was only available B2B through Dot Foods and distributed to universities/colleges, restaurants, healthcare institutions, hotels/resorts and theme parks/arenas/facilities.

“As plant-based alternatives gain more popularity showing up on dinner plates across the nation, PAOW! brings many flavorful options to your home kitchen without compromising the quality of the ingredients,” said Robyn Almodovar, PAOW!’s Corporate Chef. “Future Foods is breaking the status quo on the stigma towards plant-based products with revolutionary flavor profiles and premium texture. Our PAOW!™ Pieces can take any dish to the next level.”

Consumers may recognize Almodovar from TV shows such as Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen with Chef Gordon Ramsay and Food Network’s Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen. Today, Almodovar is at the helm of PAOW!’s kitchen, developing many of the new flavors and creating an arsenal of delectable recipes spotlighting PAOW!’s versatility in flavor, texture and cooking method. Her goal is to teach consumers how to be more creative in the kitchen and get out of their comfort zones. Stand out recipes include Tikka Masala, Tacos Al Pastor and Asian Ginger Sticky Noodles.

This past fall, PAOW! partnered with University of Florida’s Gator Dining Services to give students the opportunity to be part of what Future Foods called a “plant-based taste revolution.” PAOW! surveyed the students, ultimately giving them a chance to select which products made the cut for the brand’s consumer launch. Based on the student surveys, bold and global was the clear direction.

PAOW!’s products will be offered in 8 oz. bags, shipped in premium packaging. To learn more about PAOW!’s products and to view recipes, visit www.getpaow.com.
