Francesco, the Peruvian restaurant formerly located in Coral Gables, has officially reopened on Miracle Mile. Known for its refined seafood dishes and unique Italian influences, the restaurant returns after a six-year hiatus, now led by original owner Franco Danovaro in partnership with Fusion Agency and V&V Grupo Inmobiliario (Vertical Developments).

Originally opened in 2000 and recognized for its culinary excellence—including accolades from Miami New Times and Zagat—Francesco was a favorite among locals and celebrities alike. Its return marks a new chapter, preserving classic signature dishes while introducing modern twists and a refreshed design inspired by Peruvian coastal heritage.

The menu includes longtime favorites such as Squid Ink Risotto with grilled calamari, Tiradito Francesco, and the Catch of the Day flambéed in cognac. New highlights include Seared Sea Scallops with walnut sauce spaghetti and Double Cut Pork Chop Carapulcra with Peruvian potato stew. Dessert offerings fuse traditional and contemporary flavors, such as Suspiro Limeňo and Oreo Freddo Cheesecake.

The restaurant features a 150-seat indoor dining space, a private dining room, and a circular bar, along with outdoor seating on Miracle Mile. The space was designed by Peruvian architects Luis Marcial and Alexia Leon to reflect Francesco’s maritime inspiration and Coral Gables surroundings.
Francesco is now open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with happy hour (“Happy Bites”) available Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and live music on Wednesdays starting at 7 p.m.

Francesco is located at 278 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. For reservations and more information, visit francesco-restaurant.com or follow @francescorestaurant on social media.
