Paraiso Miami Beach Keeps the Sizzle Coming With Day Two of Swim Week

Day two of PARAISO Miami Beachstarted strong with the MANA Fashion Panel Discussion, at Cecconi's,Soho Beach House where panelists Karla Martinez de Salas, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Mexico,Hakan Baykam, President of Istituto Marangoni Miami,Andrew Lister, Executive Vice President of PURPLE,Martu Freeman-Parker, Director of Mana Fashion, and Victoria Cooper, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Capsool spoke on the importance of Miami as the next Fashion Capital of the United States.

Espacio VOGUE, featuring a curated popup shop and HydraFacial Salon, continued to be a highlight of PARAISO in Collins Park, with a steady stream of traffic all day long enjoying both the shopping and pampering opportunities available.

The party continued at the IMAGE Sunblock Party, open to the public through Sunday, and the invitation-only IMAGE Sunblock Gifting Hub, where VIP guests, models, and influencers stocked up on goodies from the hottest brands at PARAISO.

At 12pm, Azulu treated an invitation-only audience to Bailey's Colada Cocktails during the presentation of their Memento Resort 2023 collection of beautiful swimwear and resort looks.

Between shows, VIPs and influencers alike rested and recharged at the exclusive Alo Yoga Wellness Gifting Hub, where attendees can enjoy poolside cocktails, light bites, and B12 vitamin shots to stay hydrated and energized for a busy weekend of PARAISO festivities.

Later that afternoon PARAISO and Miami-based, world-renowned fashion design institute, Istituto Marangoni Miami (IMM), presented the Istituto Marangoni x PARAISO UPCYCLE Challenge, where five current students presented collections, they created using deadstock fabrics donated by reputable swimwear brands Bondi Born, Chromat, Beach Riot, Maaji, and Reina Olga. After the UPCYCLE Challenge presentation, IMM alumni, Swim'in G, Sammy, and Solana Beachwear, presented their Resort 2023 collections.

The eventful second day of PARAISO Miami Beach festivities continued with a stellar runway show featuring mens and womens looks by luxury swimwear brand Riot Swim in the PARAISO tent at 5pm. The ethereal collection included bikini and one-piece silhouettes with sultry cutouts and daring cuts in an earthy color palette.

A highlight of the evening was the epic runway presentation by Kittenish, from New York Times best-selling author, artist, and entrepreneur, Jessie James Decker. Kittenish presented a fun, flirty new swimwear collection filled with neon colors and pretty prints to a perfect summer soundtrack of pop and country hits that had the audience dancing in their seats.

At 7pm, eco-conscious, Hawaiian swim and ready to wear brand Acacia hosted a memorable presentation of their Oceanside Collection for Resort 2023, bringing the runway directly to the beach in a sun and fun-filled presentation DJed by model and actress, Ashley Smith.

Luxury Brazilian swimwear designer Sinesia Karol kept the party going when, at 8pm, they brought shimmering metallics, bold hues, and pretty prints to the runway in a brilliant presentation that marked the brand's 10th anniversary.

Miami was still sizzling at 9pm when Icon Swim presented their latest collection at the Plymouth Miami Beach.


Peixoto, the responsibly made ready to wear, swim, and resort brand, hosted an invitation-only dinner at Esme Miami Beach attended by models, influencers and VIPs, including social entrepreneur Martha Graeff and model Summer Marshall, to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

BEACH BUNNY hosted a pre-show party ahead of their runway show, which was filled with shimmering swim and resort looks in metallic shades.
