Founded in 2016, the Jacques Pépin Foundation supports culinary education as a path to employment and personal growth for individuals facing barriers. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $1.8 million to more than 80 nonprofit culinary training programs nationwide. Feeding South Florida joins this year’s cohort of grantees alongside organizations from cities such as Chicago, San Francisco, and Philadelphia. In addition to funding, Feeding South Florida will also receive branded JPF aprons and a group membership to the Foundation, further empowering its students as they build brighter futures through foodservice careers.
