As Pride Month kicked off in Miami, one of the most talked-about moments of Miami Swim Week unfolded at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, where Palace South Beach and Eliad Cohen joined Planet Fashion TV's Saturday Night Showcase at Paraiso Miami Beach. The presentation blended drag performance, swimwear fashion, dance, and LGBTQ+ visibility into a runway experience that stood apart from the traditional fashion shows seen throughout the week.

The evening's centerpiece was a surprise presentation titled Love Letter to Miami, created by Palace South Beach. The showcase transformed the runway into a tribute to Miami's culture, diversity, and LGBTQ+ community, with drag performers taking center stage beneath visuals of ocean waves, floating letters, and messages celebrating the city.

Palace performers including Dvice Dion, Valentina Valentino, MQ GLITZER, Kalah Mendoza, CC GLITZER, and Missy Meyakie LePaige appeared in a series of runway looks that combined fashion and performance. Crystal embellishments, flowing fabrics, dramatic silhouettes, and theatrical styling turned the runway into a live celebration of self-expression.
According to Palace South Beach owner Tom Donall, the presentation was designed as a tribute to Miami and the communities that have helped shape its identity.
"It was a love letter to Miami, to our community, and to the generations of artists, performers, dreamers, and changemakers who helped build the city we know today."
The production arrived as Pride Month officially began, bringing together fashion and LGBTQ+ culture at one of Miami Swim Week's largest events.
The showcase also featured a performance by Tiffany and Oscar G, the internationally recognized same-sex salsa duo from Cali, Colombia. Their acrobatic routine introduced a different form of performance art to the runway, drawing strong reactions from attendees gathered around the Surfcomber pool deck.
While Palace South Beach delivered the theatrical component of the evening, entrepreneur, DJ, model, and swimwear designer Eliad Cohen presented his latest men's swimwear collection. Models walked the runway in a range of swim trunks and swim briefs featuring striped patterns, tropical prints, and minimalist designs.
The Eliad Cohen presentation reflected the growing visibility of men's resort and swimwear collections within Miami Swim Week programming. Throughout the showcase, models moved between classic swimwear silhouettes and more fashion-forward looks while large-scale visuals bearing the Eliad Cohen brand filled the backdrop.
As the collection progressed, the energy on the runway shifted from a traditional swimwear presentation into a larger entertainment experience, reflecting a broader trend throughout the fashion industry where storytelling and performance increasingly accompany runway design.
The evening concluded with additional Eliad Cohen looks and a finale that brought together fashion, performance, and celebration. Male models returned to the runway as the Palace performers reappeared, creating one of the night's most memorable scenes.
As confetti filled the air and the final participants took their bows, the event closed with a splash when models from the Eliad Cohen presentation jumped into the Surfcomber pool, bringing an energetic finish to the showcase.

For Planet Fashion TV, the collaboration highlighted the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and culture that continues to shape Miami Swim Week. For Palace South Beach and Eliad Cohen, it provided an opportunity to celebrate Pride Month through performance, visibility, and self-expression in front of an international audience gathered in Miami Beach.
