The Our Fund Foundation Awards $440,000 in Grants to Support LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness in South Florida

The Our Fund Foundation has announced $440,000 in grant funding through its annual LGBTQ+ Health & Wellness Fund, supporting 15 nonprofit organizations delivering health, wellness, and social services to LGBTQ+ communities in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

The grants, ranging from $20,000 to $40,000, support programs focused on mental health, HIV prevention and care, housing stability, food security, youth services, survivor support, and culturally competent health education. Award recipients will be recognized during a reception on January 28 at The Our Fund Foundation headquarters in Wilton Manors.

According to Our Fund president and CEO David Jobin, the funding comes at a critical moment. He noted that ongoing federal funding reductions and state-level policies affecting LGBTQ+ communities have increased the urgency for targeted, community-based investment that directly addresses health inequities and access gaps.
