Now Pouring in Miami Beach: Divebar Brings Retro Flair and Self-Serve Innovation to Hotel Continental

The future of cocktail culture has arrived in Miami Beach, and it’s flowing straight from the taps at Divebar. The recently opened cocktail lounge, located inside the newly renovated Hotel Continental, is redefining the art of the pour, combining sleek, midcentury-inspired design with cutting-edge beverage tech that lets guests take control of their own drink experience.

Since opening its doors in May, Divebar has quickly stood out for its RFID-enabled self-pour beverage wall, allowing guests to sample batch cocktails, craft beers and wines by the ounce. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure for grown-ups, with four rotating cocktail taps and plenty of local flavor.

Signature pours include the Easy Breezy (Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose, cranberry juice and grapefruit sour) and the crisp, herbal Cucumber Cooler with Hendrick’s gin and lime. For something bold, try the Jalapeño Margarita, made with Lalo Tequila and a spicy pepper twist, or go classic-with-a-twist with the Coconut Old-Fashioned, featuring Coconut Cartel rum and spiced brown sugar syrup.

On the wine side, self-serve taps feature Sterling Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Matua Sauvignon Blanc and Day Owl Rosé, while beer lovers can sip local favorites such as La Rubia Blonde Ale from Wynwood Brewing and El Farito IPA from The Tank Brewing alongside classics like Modelo Especial and Stella Artois.

What’s new at Divebar? The Five at Dive happy hour, now pouring daily from 5-8 p.m. The lineup includes $10 classic cocktails and wines, $6 beers and $6 craveable bites, including smoked bacon deviled eggs, rosemary-roasted Marcona almonds, and shishito peppers. It’s a relaxed, refined way to ease into the evening or extend your beach day.

Divebar also keeps guests fueled throughout the day. Breakfast is served in Piola, the hotel’s on-site pizzeria, until 10 a.m., with morning options like shakshuka, avocado toast, and a decadent Nutella babka with cinnamon butter. After 10 a.m., Divebar shifts to all-day dining in its lounge area, offering creative bar fare such as fig and gorgonzola flatbread, cheeseburger croquettes with aji amarillo, and burrata with blistered tomatoes and Calabrian chili oil.
