Northeast Corporations are Relocating to South Florida

Northeast-based corporations are questioning the future of their office spaces and many are focused on relocation to South Florida. Today’s work-life balance includes working from a space that provides comforts and serenity. For this reason, corporations such as Ichan Enterprises, founded by Carl Icahn a famed activist investor relocated the company headquarters to Milton Tower, a C lass A boutique “trophy tower” in Sunny South Florida with sprawling water views.

“Seeing the ocean from your office is what many of our tenants embrace as a work-life balance and positive environment,” says Gina Milton, President of Marketing & Advertising of J. Milton & Associates. The top-notch building recently completed in March 2020, providing tenants of all types of businesses customized spaces for their specific business needs. As leasing continues, Milton Tower can customize spaces for tenants with all types of businesses. Executive suites range in size from 2,000- to 13,900-square feet, Milton Tower marks Sunny Isles Beach’s, first waterfront office tower of this size and scale with quality, location and accessibility that appeals to a wide range of tenants, including residents who do not want the headaches of traveling all the way to downtown Miami or Brickell Avenue.

Located at the busiest intersection of 163rd Street and Collins Avenue, Milton Tower has installed a spectacular $1.6 million 18-foot sculpture, titled “Mariposas,” by artist Manolo Valdés. Valdés has been featured in many museums and galleries including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The artist has similar pieces throughout Valencia, Spain; Place Vendome, Paris; Berkeley Square, London; Taipei, Taiwan and Dubai. Today, standing gracefully at Milton Tower, the “Mariposas” sculpture bridges multiculturalism into the City of Sunny Isles Beach.

The 102,000-square-foot building features valet parking, floorto- ceiling glass windows with direct ocean, Intracoastal and city views, ground floor café, T1 & T3 data lines, Wi-Fi connected common areas, onsite fitness center, six-floor parking garage, outdoor terraces, dedicated emergency power, and electric vehicle charging stations.
