Nick Mele Debuts Immersive Fine Art Exhibition 'Please, No Photos' in Palm Beach

Photographer Nick Mele has unveiled his latest fine art exhibition, "Please, No Photos," at 317 Peruvian Avenue in Palm Beach. Created in collaboration with interior designer Caroline Rafferty, the exhibition transforms a traditional gallery into an immersive environment.

The space functions as both an art gallery and an interactive design showroom. It features Mele’s photography alongside furniture from Society Social and textiles from Brunschwig & Fils. Visitors are invited to engage with the installation by playing mahjong and backgammon on pieces from Mele’s game room collection, including the Checkmate Game Table and Rook Swivels.

The exhibition captures Mele’s signature aesthetic of eccentric, elegant worlds. Design elements include:

  • Maximalist prints and Katibi wallpaper from Brunschwig & Fils.

  • Select furniture pieces sourced from The Colony Hotel Palm Beach.

  • Interactive staging that allows guests to take portraits within the designed environment.

The exhibition is scheduled to run through May 2025. While the gallery is open to the public, appointment-only viewing is also available for those seeking a private experience. Fine art featured in the show can be purchased through the artist’s website.
