Next Yacht Group Launches the Maiora 36 Exuma and AB 130 Flagship
Next Yacht Group has expanded its fleet with the launch of two new yachts that reflect different approaches to luxury cruising: the Maiora 36 Exuma and the AB 130 flagship. Both models have been developed to serve distinct owner preferences while maintaining the Italian shipbuilder’s focus on engineering, craftsmanship, and performance.
The launches demonstrate the company’s ability to deliver projects with different design philosophies under the same production standards. While the Maiora 36 Exuma emphasizes a closer connection with the sea and relaxed cruising, the AB 130 focuses on speed, technology, and sporty performance.

The second hull of the Maiora 36 Exuma continues the evolution of a model developed in collaboration with Quartostile and Acube Design. Measuring 36.9 meters with a draft of just 1.45 meters, the yacht is designed to access shallow bays and harbors that are often unavailable to vessels of its size. Powered by three 2,000-horsepower MAN V12 engines paired with MJP waterjets and a central booster, it reaches a top speed of 33 knots while offering gyroscopic stabilization both underway and at anchor.
The yacht’s layout prioritizes open living spaces and a stronger connection between guests and the surrounding environment, reflecting a growing demand for more flexible and experience-driven cruising.
The new AB 130 becomes the flagship of the AB Yachts range and marks the third hull in the series. At 39.65 meters in length, it combines expanded interior volumes with the brand’s signature focus on high-speed performance.
Large windows increase natural light throughout the main salon, while outdoor amenities include a spacious sundeck, an open-air cinema, a forward lounge, and retractable side terraces that expand the beach club area.
Its propulsion system combines three 2,600-horsepower MTU engines with MJP steerable waterjets and a central booster, allowing the yacht to reach a top speed of 41 knots. A shallow 1.3-meter draft also enables access to destinations that are typically challenging for yachts of this size.
According to Giangrasso, the launches also reflect the company’s readiness for future projects. “The team is motivated, united, and ready to tackle the new challenges ahead with determination.”
Both the Maiora 36 Exuma and the AB 130 are scheduled for delivery to their owners during the summer of 2026.
