New World Symphony Launches Pay-What-You-Wish Performances Ahead of 2026–27 Season
New World Symphony will open its 2026–27 season with a series of pay-what-you-wish performances in September, giving audiences an early look at the orchestra’s new and returning Fellows.
The September events precede season-opening concerts on October 3 and 4, when conductor Stéphane Denève returns to lead a program that includes Anne Akiko Meyers performing Arturo Márquez’s mariachi-inspired Violin Concerto and concludes with Maurice Ravel’s Boléro.
Tickets for the pay-what-you-wish performances and the October 3 and 4 concerts are available through the New World Symphony website; audiences can purchase tickets online.
Alongside the new season, New World Symphony is introducing a VIP Membership priced at $100 per month, which includes one ticket to every New World Center concert, access to invite-only events and a 50 percent discount on additional tickets for guests.
