New World Symphony Launches 39th Season With JIJI in Miami on September 19
New World Symphony will open its 39th season with a pre-season concert on Saturday, September 19, featuring guitarist JIJI and the 2026–27 class of Fellows at the New World Center in Miami Beach.
The program includes Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, with JIJI as soloist, highlighting the palace gardens that inspired one of the most frequently performed guitar concertos.
The concert offers audiences a first look at the 2026–27 New World Symphony Fellows, a group of 87 early-career musicians in residence who train, perform and collaborate with visiting artists throughout the season.
Tickets are offered on a pay-what-you-wish basis starting at $10, and are available online.
