New World Symphony Announces 2026–27 Family Concerts and Subscription Highlights
New World Symphony has outlined plans for its 2026–27 season, highlighting a pair of family concerts for young audiences and a subscription series built around major orchestral works.
The next kids concert series, designed for children ages 4 to 9, begins on Sunday, November 1 with Spooky Symphony at the New World Center. The events combine hands-on activities in the atrium with interactive performances where children are invited to move, clap, sing, dance and attend in costume.
Season subscriptions feature discounted access to some of the orchestra’s most in-demand performances, including a Ravel’s Boléro program with Artistic Director Stéphane Denève and violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at New World Center, Mozart’s Requiem led by Stephanie Childress at the Arsht Center in Downtown Miami, and a program of music by Steve Reich, Igor Stravinsky and Philip Glass with violinist Jennifer Koh.
