New Sketch Comedy Show at Villain Theater

After seven years of live improvised comedy, Villain Theater presents its biggest sketch show ever! Enjoy Propaganda Machine, an all new sketch comedy show where characters and comedy reign supreme.

Villain Theater is a long-time leader in Miami’s arts and culture community. In their first foray into scripted sketch shows, director Peter Mir and company members take a satirical look at our culture of brand-obsessed media. “We are engaging with characters in our phones and laptops all day long. This show is about bringing those characters to life,” says Mir.

A home for stand-up comedy and improv that reflects the Magic City’s diverse identities, Villain Theater regularly hosts some of comedy’s biggest names. Company members perform a variety of shows every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday night, and the theater also provides weekly improv classes, workshops, and open mics.

The new sketch show comes to you from the minds of Villain Theater’s writers room. This show has got it all: Bobby Flay, Batman, McCarthy Hearings, live music, foot fetishes, and baby flight attendants. It’s the Saturday night event of the season.

Propaganda Machine will feature at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday nights at Villain Theater, premiering November 5th and running each week until December 17th.

Starring Victoria Haig, Joseph Rodriguez, Jannelys Santos, Patrick Rodriguez, Peter Mir, Robbie Ortiz, Hannah Artman, John Rodriguez, Paris Nicholson, and Chachi Colon.

Crewed by Noah Salzman, Matthew Mur, Daniela Delfino, Al D’Amico, and Allison McCoin.

Directed by Peter Mir.
