Brunch may technically live somewhere between breakfast and lunch, but in South Florida, it has a way of taking over the entire afternoon.

National Brunch Day arrives Sunday, September 20, and a simple plate of eggs with a lone mimosa simply won't do. Across Miami and Fort Lauderdale, restaurants are turning the weekend ritual into a full-blown affair, complete with bottomless bellinis along the intracoastal, free-flowing rooftop spritzes overlooking Brickell's hustle and bustle and high-energy drag brunches where the tableside entertainment is just as dazzling as the cocktails.

Because the only thing better than another mimosa is knowing you're getting your money's worth, here is your under-$60 guide to sipping, savoring and stretching South Florida's favorite weekend ritual well into the afternoon.

BEST BOTTOMLESS WITH VIEWS

Set along Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Himmarshee Canal, Casa Sensei combines waterfront dining with one of the area’s best bottomless brunch deals. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can sip two hours of unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys, Bellinis and sangria for just $19 with the purchase of an entrée. The Pan-Asian Latin brunch menu puts a creative spin on weekend classics with dishes like Togarashi Fried Chicken & Waffles, Wagyu Steak & Eggs, Rise N Shine Bao Buns with pork belly and scrambled eggs and Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast.

With panoramic Intracoastal views, Shooters Waterfront has long been one of Fort Lauderdale’s quintessential waterfront brunch destinations. Every Saturday and Sunday, guests can enjoy a $55 all-you-can-eat brunch buffet ($35 for children) featuring made-to-order omelets and waffles, fresh seafood, sushi, carving stations, desserts and more. Pair it with two hours of bottomless mimosas for an additional $35 or Tito’s Bloody Marys for an additional $60.

Novotel Miami Brickell brings bottomless brunch to both UVA Restaurant & Bar and Vista Rooftop Bar & Lounge every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menus feature indulgent favorites like the Croque Madame with Truffle Béchamel, Chicken & Waffles Elevated, Short Rib Benedict and Tres Leches French Toast. Guests can add a two-hour bottomless package with Bubbles for $25 (including a choice of mimosas or Bellinis), Bloody Marys for $25 or Spritzes for $40.

BOTTOMLESS HOT SPOTS

In Coconut Grove, Grand Public Kitchen + Bar gives weekend brunch a spritz-worthy spin with a $35 bottomless Aperol spritz special. Guests can sip alongside selections from the à la carte brunch menu, including Wild Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes and the Smoked Turkey & Avocado Club. For a more traditional brunch pairing, $25 bottomless mimosas are also available.
