Mutts Gone Nuts - Unleashed! arrives at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Sunday, January 25, with performances scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The family-friendly production features a cast of trained dogs in a comedy-driven live show presented by the City of Aventura.

The show includes a group of canine performers known for physical comedy, agility routines, and audience interaction. The lineup features a Guinness World Record holder, a performer recognized from America’s Got Talent, and several rescue dogs trained to perform coordinated stunts and routines.
Mutts Gone Nuts was created in 2005 by comedy duo Scott and Joan Houghton, who have performed together since the mid-1980s. The production combines circus-style comedy with dog training, placing the performers and their handlers in a fast-paced format built around timing and improvisation.
All dogs featured in the show are adopted from shelters or rescue organizations. Training is based on positive reinforcement, and the animals are maintained under USDA APHIS Animal Welfare standards. When not performing, the dogs travel in climate-controlled kennels and live indoors as part of the Houghtons’ household.

VIP tickets include a post-show meet-and-greet with the dogs. Tickets are available through the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center via its official website at Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. The venue is located at 3385 NE 188 Street in Aventura and is managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
