Muerto de Risa Cabaret Extends Tropical Park Run in Miami Through July 19

A Havana-style comedy cabaret honoring Cuban comedian Álvarez Guedes is nearing the end of its extended run in a custom-built tent at Miami’s Tropical Park, with its final performances set for July 19.

“Muerto de Risa – El Último Show de Álvarez Guedes” is a comedy cabaret built around the legacy of the late performer, whose recordings were staples in Miami and Latin American homes for decades. The production brings him back to the stage through Cuban actor Ariel Texidó, whose portrayal has drawn consistently sold-out crowds.

The show has been running for several months at Tropical Park and is presented as a multigenerational experience that does not require audiences to be Cuban or Latino to connect with its humor and storytelling. Tickets and information are available on the official site Muerto de Risa, with performances scheduled Thursday through Sunday through July 19.
