Enjoy the view of the moon rise over Biscayne! Bring your binoculars or telescope, pack a picnic and chairs, blankets, and enjoy a relaxing evening with family and friends for after-hours outdoor tonight, Friday, February 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Deering Contemporary Exhibition "Interlocking Dimensions: Eco-Art"
Deering Estate presents the Deering Contemporary Exhibition "Interlocking Dimensions: Eco-Art" featuring a range of immersive, engaging, and didactic works of art created by several local artists not just about environmentalism and sustainability, but also about reconnecting with the living world in a meaningful and emotionally satisfying way. On display daily through March 24th.
The Deering Contemporary exhibition program includes screenings and workshops on select dates by some of the exhibiting artists of the Deering Contemporary Exhibition. All events in the program are FREE with RSVP on Eventbrite. Join us on Saturday, Feb. 24th at 3 p.m. for Eco-Adjacency in Experimental Films and Videos organized by current Deering Estate Project Artist in Residence Barron Sherer at the Visitor Center Theater. Free with RSVP online. Also on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. enjoy a Flower Crown Workshop with PANGEA KALI VIRGA at the Visitor Center Exhibit Room. Free with RSVP online.

Member Appreciation Day
The 2024 Member Appreciation Day will be held on Sunday, March 3rd from 10 am to 4 pm. This is our time to say, “thank you” and to honor and celebrate Deering Estate Foundation members. Members can enjoy the Deering Contemporary Exhibition and Program, as well as complimentary lunch, ice cream, activities, and more! It promises to be a fun day for the entire family!
All members who wish to attend Member Appreciation Day must be active members and are required to pre-register online. Registration is limited and available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL FOCUS ON: DOCUMENTARY FILMS
Deering Estate in partnership with the Miami short Film Festival presents Focus On: Documentary Films on Sunday, March 10th at 7 pm. The screening will be held at the Deering Estate Theater.

Deering Estate Spring Camp
At Deering Estate Spring Camp, campers will get hooked on the world of marine biology and will reel in the fun while exploring our Mangrove Forests, Salt Marshes, and Seagrass Beds. Through dissections, experiments, crafts, and hikes, campers will be diving into a week of aquatic exploration to emerge as coastal defenders. Spring Camp is Monday - Friday, March 25-29, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. A one-day mini camp is also offered on Friday, March 22nd.
5th annual Chef's Table on the Bay
The Deering Estate Foundation will host an exquisite and exclusive dining experience, Chef’s Table on the Bay – “Night in the Tropics” on Friday, April 12th at 6:30 p.m. Under the stars on the Deering Estate’s courtyard, guests will enjoy a delicious, four-course meal prepared, described, and shared by renowned Chef Eileen Andrade of the critically acclaimed Finka Table and Tap, Barbakoa by Finka, and Amelia’s 1931.

Enjoy fresh seafood, chef demos, live entertainment and kid’s activities at the award-winning Deering Seafood Festival on Sunday, April 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
