Montreux Jazz Festival Miami 2026 Returns with Jon Batiste, Nile Rodgers, Trombone Shorty & More

Updated: Nov 9

The world’s most iconic music festival returns to The Hangar at Regatta Grove this February, as Montreux Jazz Festival Miami once again transforms the shores of The Magic City into a playground of sound, soul, and creative energy.

Hailed as “the Rolls Royce of music festivals,” Montreux Jazz Festival has long stood as a beacon of musical excellence.

Its Miami edition, now entering its third year, infuses that legacy with a distinctly tropical flair — blending the spirit of Montreux with the vibrancy and diversity of South Florida.

This one-of-a-kind weekend of performances, collaborations, and late-night jams runs February 27 through March 1, 2026, promising three unforgettable nights of boundary-pushing music and spontaneous artistic fusion.

At the heart of the experience is Jon Batiste, the festival’s artistic director and co-founder, who has been instrumental in shaping Montreux Miami’s identity. His signature late-night jam sessions — often featuring surprise guests — have become legendary, with past unannounced appearances by Maxwell, Shania Twain, and Will Smith.

Following last year’s sold-out success, which drew coverage from Rolling Stone, Essence, and Forbes, Montreux Jazz Festival Miami 2026 raises the bar once again with a stellar lineup:

  • Friday, Feb 27: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue + New Orleans Celebration hosted by Trombone Shorty and Jon Batiste, with special guests.

  • Saturday, Feb 28: Nile Rodgers & CHIC, TOTO, Adi Oasis.

  • Sunday, March 1: Bomba Estéreo, Pedrito Martinez.

Each night promises the kind of creative alchemy that has made Montreux a global phenomenon — where genres blur, legends emerge, and cultural walls dissolve.

Tickets for Montreux Jazz Festival Miami start at $199, with VIP options at $599 and Legend tickets at $899. Flexible payment plans are also available.
