Monica’s Runway Brings Fashion and Philanthropy Aboard Celebrity Ascent This February

Monica’s Runway: Fashion for a Cause will return on February 2, 2026, transforming Celebrity Ascent into a venue for an afternoon focused on fashion, community engagement, and youth literacy. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. aboard the luxury ship while docked at Port Everglades.
Hosted by Monica Taylor in partnership with Celebrity Cruises and Cruise Planners, the event will raise funds for The Jason Taylor Reading Room, a core initiative of the Jason Taylor Foundation. The program supports literacy and academic development for middle school students in underserved communities.
Now entering its 19th year, the Jason Taylor Reading Room provides after-school tutoring, mentorship, and reading support at no cost to families. Proceeds from the event will help fund educators, instructional materials, books, and program resources that allow the initiative to continue operating at scale.
Monica’s Runway brings together local leaders, philanthropists, and designers for a program that combines runway presentations with charitable giving. The afternoon will include curated fashion collections, VIP experiences, and a silent auction benefiting the foundation’s literacy programs.
The setting aboard Celebrity Ascent reflects the event’s emphasis on blending luxury with social impact, positioning the runway show within one of the newest ships in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. The partnership with Cruise Planners supports the event’s production and guest experience.
Monica Taylor has built Monica’s Runway into a recurring philanthropic platform in South Florida, using fashion as a vehicle to support education-focused initiatives and community development.
