Monad Terrace by Ateliers Jean Nouvel Reveals Interior Funishings by MORADA-Haute Furniture Boutique

Monad Terrace by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, designed in collaboration with Kobi Karp, introduces the iconic building’s latest move-in ready residence, with interior furnishings crafted in Italy by furniture and design house MORADA-Haute Furniture Boutique.

MORADA’s tailored interior design pays homage to Jean Nouvel’s architectural vision for the project, inspired by his mastery of water, light, sky, and natural vegetation as design elements. Exclusive, hand-crafted furniture upholstered in soft inviting fabrics paired with Italian leathers and stone finishes in neutral tones are thoughtfully curated to create a harmonic space with an elegant yet comfortable feel that complements the lightness of its surroundings.

“We wanted to transform the space into a personalized ambiance that invokes all of the senses, while honoring Nouvel’s innovative design,” said MORADA founders Fernan Hernandez and Holger Odenstein. “With this residence we are telling a story that fuses timeless shapes and materials with natural features for a flawless Oasis on the Bay."

Residing in an intimate standalone building of just six full-floor residences, Residence 1A is uniquely situated alongside Monad Terrace’s signature lagoon. The desirable proximity to the lagoon and its expansive waterfront terrace seamlessly enhances a truly indoor-outdoor living experience, with a light-filled open floor plan with framed panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami. Offering 3,892 square-feet of space, the visual elements of the three-bed, three-and-a-half bath home are emphasized with tasteful touches that juxtapose the building’s lush climbing gardens of native Bougainvillea and Passion Vines.

“MORADA’s design team was able to exquisitely complement the brilliant architecture and craftsmanship at Monad Terrace, evoking a sense of serenity and capturing a distinctive lifestyle that can’t be found anywhere else,” said Michael Stern, the project’s developer, and Founder/CEO of JDS Development Group.

Comprised of 59 light-filled waterfront residences enveloping a glittering lagoon that reflects light throughout the buildings glass façade, Monad Terrace seemingly floats above the bay with panoramic views from every angle. Landscaping and interior finishes are all custom designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, offering balanced continuity between outside and inside. The kitchen showcases a cantilevered marble island in Calacatta Gold with a custom wine rack, reflective Poliform cabinetry and fully integrated Gaggenau appliances. The master bath is veiled in European stone countertops, marquetry flooring, tiled walls and a soaking tub with uninterrupted water views. The home includes designer fixtures, teak flooring throughout, a private elevator and custom honeycomb, floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide unobstructed views when looking out, and ensure privacy when looking in.

Owners at Monad Terrace have access to superior amenities and features including private elevator access, in-house concierge, a sun deck with a 116-foot swimming pool and hot tub overlooking Biscayne Bay, valet parking, a café and juice bar, a wellness center, private dock, and a bicycle and water sports storage room.

The residence is located at 1300 Monad Terrace in Miami Beach. Sales and marketing is managed exclusively by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. For more information, please call 305.695.0888 or visit monadterrace.miami.
