Michael Elkins, Esq., Founder & Partner of MLE Law, Selected to 2022 Florida Super Lawyers List

Updated: Nov 29, 2022

Super Lawyers has named Michael Elkins, Esq., founder and partner of Fort Lauderdale-based MLE Law, to its 2022 Florida Super Lawyers List. This year’s designation marks Elkins’ fourth consecutive year being selected as a Super Lawyer (2019–2022). Previously, he was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for five consecutive years (2011–2015).

Elkins focuses his practice on Labor & Employment law. He assists clients with their day-to-day legal needs, administrative claims, matters pending in courts at any level, and employer/employee specific issues.

Having spent the majority of his career working in large to mid-size Florida law firms, Elkins founded MLE Law to, among other things, modernize the business of law by providing alternative fee structures wherein clients are not charged for phoning, emailing or texting about their matters. The firm allows for modern, efficient and global representation while only charging clients for actual legal work produced.

Elkins is disrupting how lawyers attract and retain business. As the creator and host of the “Quarter Four” podcast, which he founded in 2018, he is using modern media to not only promote MLE Law, but his overall brand. The podcast covers the intersection between business and sports, providing listeners an inside look into the psychology of what makes individuals successful on and off the field.

“I am honored to once again be selected to the Florida Super Lawyers list, to which honorees are selected by their peers in the legal field,” said Elkins. “By making the business of law more efficient and beneficial for the client through the use of technology, I am pleased to be a changemaker in today’s legal industry.”
