Miami to Host U.S. Debut of World Architecture Festival With Exclusive Preview Event

Miami is gearing up for an architectural milestone as it prepares to host the World Architecture Festival (WAF) for the first time in the U.S. On February 5, 2025. The Bass Museum of Art will serve as the venue for a special preview event, offering a glimpse into what attendees can expect from the inaugural WAF Miami edition, set to take place November 12-14, 2025.

The evening will feature remarks from key figures in the global architecture community, including WAF Programme Director Paul Finch, who will discuss the upcoming festival and its exciting Miami debut. Previous WAF winners Joyce Owens, founder of Architecture Joyce Owens LLC, and Richard Maimon, Partner at Kieran Timberlake, will share their experiences and insights from their award-winning projects. Paul Flowers, Chief Design Officer at LIXIL, will also offer remarks.

In addition to the main event, attendees will have the opportunity to network with leaders from the architecture, design, and interiors communities, creating an inspiring atmosphere for creative exchange. The preview event will highlight some of the standout categories and projects that will be featured at the full festival in November.

The full World Architecture Festival will take place over three days in November 2025, where architects, designers, and industry professionals will come together to celebrate the best in architecture and design from around the world.
